You are in the inferno
Sometimes in life;
Right in the eye of the whirlwind.
When He woos you more,
Desperate to uplift
From this circle of no end.
You are set ablaze
Sometimes in life,
Scalding, with nothing to comprehend.
When He has marked you
To rise to a higher plane,
Leaving you with no ties to bind.
You burn from within,
As much as you do without,
Charring away to mere powder of ash.
When He knows it’s time
To peel yourself bare;
Realizing your true self!
